Altered Cigar Box - Heritage Keepsakes

Altered Objects are truly fun to do.

This is an old cigar box that I covered with papers,
then created a matching mini book to go inside.

The top is covered with a vintage hand crocheted doily.
On top of that are buttons, a real vintage old door key,
some metal cabinet hardware, ribbons, rick-rac, paper flowers,
plastic leaves, metal leaves, and vintage photos.

The doily wraps around the front and is also attached
to the inside of the lid.

The edges of the cigar box are slightly distressed to add
an aged appearance.

The book matches the box and is filled with photo pages.

These are thumbnails that will show you
a lager image when you click on them.
