We were not allowed to use yellow or orange so my tag is rather dark, but the colors fit the theme.
The challenge motivation was: "We don't want to be fairy and bright. We want to be scary and give them a fright!"
Our requirements were:
1. Supplies: Glitter and Ribbon
2. Embellishment: Hand made flower
3. Technique: Embossing
4. Surface: Any
5. Colors: Any color EXCEPT for Orange or Yellow
I don't "do" scary Halloween any more, but I did use a vintage witch picture on this one. She's stirring a cauldron, and cooking up some Halloween fun. A cat walks around her feet seeming to beg for a bite of the delicious concoction that she is stirring. Maybe she'll ladel out a bit of it for the kitty.
I cut out a card stock black hat which is popped up off the image of the witch. It has been covered with glitter and has a tiny black satin bow.
The flower is handmade and has black cardstock leaves which have been embossed.
The surface that I chose was chipboard covered in patterned papers that have stars and a moon.
There are colors of black, purple, wine, red, and cream.
Three purple jingle bells dangle from the right bottom side of the tag.
Here is the finished hang tag.

Above is a close up of the main section of the tag. Below is the full image.
